it is a Canon Rebel XS with the kit lens

you should really check the white balance on your camera when taking pictures under high pressure sodium lights.

using an editing program to fix the white balance, this is more what it should look like:

although, using the white balance on the camera is gonna be the best way to ensure correct lighting color.
