my buddy ran a 125 of zex dry shot for over 2 year on his 98 and we have a local track so we race every other weekend and he had no problems. then he switch to a blower and finally poped the motor, but i am telling you he BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THAT CAR 24/7 i think you would have no problem running a 100 shot

no i would run a 100 shot Wet and run 2 stage colder plugs and the highest pumped gas you can get 91 93 etc.. and you will be good. i ran a 50 shot on my 2000 Eclipse RS 4cyl for 3 years and never once had any issues

50 shots suck, dont waste your money on anything less then a 100 shot unless you already have another form of FI. you can safely run a wet shot, just make sure to spray only above 3000rpms while in WOT, and never to spray without the right bottle pressure and you should be fine... and a tune is always reccommend but nothing is ever 100% safe, especially FI...

It really depends on your tune. Without a tune you could probably get away with a 50 shot. But honestly with any type of power-adder a tune is highly recommended

Well heres the mods I plan on adding before this year is over in addition to the mods I have in my profile. I plan on getting PI cams and intake, plus a tuner so I can hold a couple tunes. I'll probaly have an economy tune, performance tune (93 octane fuel), nitrous tune (93 octane as well) and the stock tune of course. I wanna be able to run a 100 shot or more safely. Possible?

very possible, nitrous is fine on stock motors, backfire is what will get you after you blow up your intake a couple times (if it happens) or run a dry shot and end up without any fuel uptop, or a wetshot and end up with puddling. all shots have there ups and downs but can be completely safe on stock motors... guess its a misconception that they cant be :dunno:.but ive never heard of any horror stories that werent driver/owner error...

I am not sure how strong the mod motors are but my buddy has a stock 95 Cobra and he runs a NX 150 Shot and has for a few years and beats on his car.

He walks on C5 Z06's day and night...lol

5.0s can take alot more then our cars, my buddies 89 took a 230 shot for about 9 passes at the track for one night, didnt even blow up, they where more upset that it didnt blow up i think... but mod motors can take a 150 shot, just gotta be cautious when doing it, take all the needed precautions and spray in the right rpms...
