checked your fuses? Did you check them all or play the manual game and try to guess the correct one? Go and check every fuse in the car both under the dash and by the batt, takes 3 mins to do them all.

yeah, checked the fuses...all good........according to a wiring diagram the a/c clutch gets its signal from the CCRM(sp?)....could it be bad?

I know in my ranger it was controlled by one of the ignition wires. The ignitions on these cars are known to get hot and have issues after time so it could be that. Are there any other options that do not have power?

The CCRM does control the A/C.
Mine was bad on my car when got it.
I got the replacement from a member on here.
I have heard that Advence now carries remanned CCRM's but cannot confirm

Had this problem the other day when recharging my ac, problem was the low pressure sensure. to test just unplug the sensor and put a jumper in the harness, then turn on ac and see if it starts working. the low pressure sensor is the one on the collector next to the firewall on the passenger side. if this is the problem then the switch is only like $15.

If the low pressure sensor doesn't see enough pressure it wont let the clutch engage to protect the compressor, you may need to charge it...

i had the LP jumped out to begin with (recharging)...thats when i noticed the clutch not engaging.....checked for 12v signal at the compressor and nothin.....i just ran a fused wire to a toggle switch in the car from the compressor to engage it manually....not the best scenario ,but it'll do for now
