You don't need swaybars in order to go fast in a straight line!

:laughing4:

actually you would want your rear sway bar on for drag, you just don't want a front one

I'm gonna guess that the previous owner has broken the rear sway bar, and probably just never replaced it. It happens. I've broken rear sway bar as well.

Ditto. Mine broke and I still haven't replaced it. But with the OP, has anyone ever used the eibach unit?

Oh its an 8.8 for sure.. that's probably what happened, it got snapped and never replaced.. kinda funny, but it seems like it drives well...
My friend tyler has the full eibach sway bar kit on his car, and it seemed really nice when i've driven it.

My broke and it took my awhile to replace. Never noticed a difference either besides the sound of it bouncing around after it broke.

I have even broke a Steeda HD rear bar, just happened a few months ago actually. Had to go back to the stocker and you can really tell the difference. My car likes to plow through the corners instead of having a bit of oversteer and it sucks!!!

i too have broken a steeda HD sway bar. i have spoken with Steeda and they explained at above 65mph that the rear end isnt stable and rolls. not a good condition during high winds. however he said to "drive" it its not needed. i replaced with another one and the adjustable sway bar . i recently removed the adjustable one to install a diff girdle. this also makes use of the PHB's full potential.
