What's up guys. I have a question, hopefully you can help. I put a manual rack in it and need to know what delete bracket to buy.
Any insight on what pulley and bracket to pick up? I appreciate the help :eek:ccasion14:

For reference, this is how it was routed before. Let me know what you think.

Thank you in advance!

Haha no problem, I appreciate it. I have no clue where I'd route it to include the water pump, that's the problem. If there's a way to do that, I would.

I thought it could wrap around like this.... Alternator, tensioner, crank, water pump and back to the alternator?

If not, maybe if u re-install the idler pulley?

Because I don't have the normal tensioner setup, that makes it a bit more complicated. I can't find a power steering delete bracket for 94-95 cars. Would an A/C eliminator bracket bolt in there? I don't think so, but I've got some people saying it would

U could just put the a/c eliminator pulley in the a/c spot and do it that way.... Since u said u didnt have a/c.... Im putting in a manual rack on my car this weekend and i have no smog or a/c. Hopefully i can run the belt like i posted yesterday.

Well that looks awesome, based on the picture of my car (it isn't quite together yet, lol) i didn't think it would hit the water pump enough. Hopefully this works.

Thanks guys!

BTW, 97 king cobra, check the threads on inner tie rod of the rack you buy before you pick up tie rods. I was about to finish up the underneath of the car then I found out flaming river uses 9/16-18 threads (i think) so I have to return my tie rods and get some from a 93.

that bracket wont work on an SN-95.

I used a 445k6 and ran my belt like this. Was on the same belt for 2 years... until I put the P/S back in.

I want to route my belt exactly like that. Those are bigger aftermarket wp and alt pulleys. How was your charging system and cooling system since they were getting less rotation (due to bigger pulleys)?

Also did u try routing a belt with the stock size pulleys? I have the larger aftermarket pulleys from upr but would rather not use them due to fear of what i mentioned above.

my car idles at 750 rpms' and doesnt have any charging issues. I have ran the car for two years with that belt setup and never overheated it once

side note, I run a 180? thermostat and reduced my fan activation temps by 10?

I never tried it with the stock pullies, no. Sorry.
