Easiest method to figure this out is with a can of starting fluid. Take off you intake and spray down the throttle body if she start to run for a second you know its a fuel issue if not then you know its a electric issue.. You always have some sort of pressure in your line. Hook up a gauge and see if pressure changes that right there will also tell you if its electrical or fuel.

If you ran out of fuel and the car died, now doesn't start..you could have vapour lock in the fuel lines/rails/injectors..it's very possible that from running out of fuel the pump overheated,,hehe anything is possible. Like the last person posted, get a can of fuel start and spray it through teh TB while cranking, try that method. Even though fuel squirts out the valve doesn't mean you have enough pressure to start the car(1psi will not do anything)..if the can of Fuel Start gets the engine fired up, I'd check the fuel pressure...pump could have taken the boot or sucked up crap on the bottom of the tank and seized/clogged

well heres the problem i found. i did check with start fluid no start still. so i checked today after work figured the dist. or coil was bad. unhooked the coil plug wire so i could pull the cap off as i did that i noticed the harness plug in for the coil was loose i touched it and it fell out plugged it in started right up. used some zip ties to keep it secure. thanks for all help. mods can lock this thread if you want to.
