I have been having some weird bucking problems (Here is the thread about the bucking http://www.sn95forums.com/forum/index.php?topic=8231.0;topicseen) that I just can not figure out. I have tried just about every sensor or ignition part on the car. So here is my question. If a non HO long block were bought from one of those chain auto stores and installed but hooked up like a HO (firing order correct for HO) would it run? The engine in my car has been changed and the guy I got it fromsaid that it never ran quite right but he didn't know any more about cars then you put gas in them. I am wondering if I have the wrong engine. Is that possible?

I had a strange bucking problem at low rpm's for a while. Tested sensor after sensor and finally found a bad lower intake leak. Resealed the intake and all my driveability problems dissapeared!! Check that first.
