Hello!
I am a fairly new SN95 owner.
My friend's daughter abandoned a 1998 Ford Mustang and he gave it to me if I would just come get it.
Later, we went and completed all of the title work, so it is legally mine.
It is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 and backed by a 5 speed.
I dunno if the 5 speed is a T5 or a T45
The engine runs good, but the 5 speed is noisy and the rear end whines very loudly.
The rear end has fluid, but sounds like it is bone dry.
The 5 speed maybe okay, but until I can get the rear end fixed where I can hear the transmission, I will not know.
It drives fine, rides good and shifts good.
Things I know it needs:
Battery
Front brakes
Replace the rear end with a complete junk yard axle assembly, maybe an 8.8 from a GT?
Clutch
Driver's seat - real bad
Door Lock solenoids replaced.
