Okay, so here's a little background info.

Im 18, in University, 2 months ago I bought my first Stang/Car, a 94 Rio Red GT coupe 5 speed. It has a rebuilt engine with some mods done, my guess is it puts out about 250-260hp. The car has about 150k miles on it, engine only has about 30k. Original Trans.

well, here's the thing. I got the power bug, and to be blunt, I want the fastest mustang in town :headbang:

Here's the problem. im stuck between two choices. Here's the first.

Buy this,

Then grab this

http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=6885

and then these.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/moser-31spline-88-axle-9498.html

Then a couple years down the line, possibly even through a supercharger on it.

minus the supercharger, id be looking at about $11,000 in parts alone, then installation...yikes.

My other idea is to save up for 2 years and buy a Termi, I love the cars and they can be had for about 20 grand. 2 years would give me enough time to finish either of these, Just not sure which I would want to do more.

ideas?

being a 94/95 owner myself, i say if your on the fence about it, put money aside and buy the cobra. if you love this body style like i do, keep the 94 and mod it up. buying that crate motor is an option but there are better ones out there if you do your research. Besides the fact that it is designed for a carb setup which i would not recommend doing. Doing it over again, i would buy a turbo and supporting mods and call it a day.

If your motor has been rebuilt and you're confident in it, just slap a Vortech on it and call it a day. You can throw on a H/C/I too if you want and you'll have a pretty quick car without going that far into it. It won't be the absolute fastest but a Vortech ought to be enough to calm your power bug until you get out of college. Then you can buy a Termi and have 2 S/C'd beasts.

Dont put all that money into your car....put it into an account and put it towards school loans or life after graduating. Trust me....you'll thank me later.
