What was your boost? Was it consistent, or is there a chance the belt slipped?
Heat soak may have played a part also. You would be amazed at what consistent A/F ratios will do to an engine's power output. I've seen gains of 400HP on higher powered cars just from tweaking and tuning A/F and timing. On lower powered cars I've seen gains of about 30-50 before. Get the right amount of fuel to the engine, and add a little bit of timing, and I bet your numbers will be right where you are hoping they will be. That stuff can make a large difference.
I would almost guarantee your intercooler isn't clogged. It did look dirty, but the amount of air that is rushing through that would blow out anything that could get stuck, which would be nothing because either A. something would have to get past the air filter, and make it's way into the intercooler, or B. the liquid (oil) that made it's way to the intercooler somehow withstood the 15 pounds of boost (or more, I don't remember what your original boost number was) long enough to stay in one place and solidify, which I doubt. However, your intake manifold may be a little gunked up, and you might want to check that. In that case, you would probably want to clean off the intercooler anyway, just to be sure.
