I want to buy a new O/R pipe for my car. It currently has stock exhaust except for flowmaster mufflers. I believe the mufflers are 50 series because they aren't much louder than stock but they are nice and deep. Should I get an o/r x-pipe or o/r h-pipe. I've heard the an h-pipe is more torque and better sound and x-pipe is more hp and more raspy sound. My question is the power difference between the h-pipe and x-pipe noticable? Which pipe should I get O/R h-pipe or O/R x-pipe?

exhaust on a lower hp car is all sound preference. Pick what you wanna hear and enjoy.

I say o/r X and flows..... BBK o/r X and flows sounds kick ass to me.

i have shorty jba headers, upr catless x, with slp loudmouth catback, its just plain loud! seriously! idk how loud you wanna go or what you lookin for and x pipe is more of a raspy exotic loud exhaust tone, and then the h pipe is smoother less raspy but not loud like an x pipe, dont get me wrong h pipes are loud too just x pipe has a higher pitch than a h idk if anyone agrees. power wise x pipe will make more power over and h pipe just cuz of the crossover x design it creates more turberlance in the exhaust and pushes the exhuast faster thats what ive heard, but were talking about 1 or 2 hp more over a h so it really just comes done too what of exhaust you want.

i have an O/R X and love it but would love it even more if it was deeper.
H pipe gives you a couple less HP's but a deeper roar. my vote goes to H

I have BBK o/r X-pipes to 40 series flowmasters on my 95 Cobra and it sounds damn good. Especially at about 2000rpm, gives it that "don't f*** with me sound" lol but I will say its nice until you get out on the highway/interstate and its constantly at 2000, gives me a deadening headache after a while
