Odometer stopped working : 1995 Mustang gt

Installed 3.73 gears in a 1995 mustang gt aode. After a few months the odometer stopped working. The speedometer works fine with a 23 tooth speedo gear and the tranny shifts great. How do u fix the odometer.

odometer repair kit, you can find them pretty easily. Easy install too.

Mine did the same thin I replaced the grear and nothing then swapped the auto out for a manual and it started working again.
it was the speedo sensor the whole time , although the gear needed to be replaced anyways.

Its the gear, but im very hesitate to spend $40 to fix it. My car has been stuck @ 108 thousand miles for over a year now lol

my broken, is the miles register on the computer or something ? because i want find out wat exactly the miles on my car, and also need it working for changing oil and stuff.

Change the gear out. Yes it costs 30+ dollars for two little pieces of plastic but it is nice to have the trip to track mileage and such. It takes less than an hour to do. Plus if you ever sell it the new buyer may notice its not working and decide against the purchase.
