What's up with the sensors? Do you have do something different to change out from a catted stock "H" pipe to an off-road "H" pipe with no cats? Where's a good place to buy one for a '98???

TIA

Are you talking about MIL elim's??? To take off the check engine light left behind from going catless?

if your referring to mil's anywheres good, i got BBK but it dont matter realy. Just dont buy the ones that you have to splice in. The MIl's just tell ur stock computer to "calm down, there's nothing wrong with you." then take it out for icecream and let her know that it will all pay off in the end. lmao

When you run an O/R pipe you get a CEL because of the 2 rear O2 Sensors. The only thing the Rear O2 sensors do is detect if there are catalytic converters.

There are 2 ways to remove the CEL

1. Buy MIL Eliminators, They trick the computer into thinking that the Cats are there.

2. Turn off the Rear O2 sensors with a Tune.... My Diablo Sport has the option to turn off the O2 sensors

Thanks for that info. That's what I was looking for as far as MIL eliminators. I'll probably have it "tuned" out. I want an "H" pipe. Where's a good place to buy one?

so with MIL eliminators you will pass inspection when they plug the computer into your car? The place I get mine inspected at doesnt look under the car, they just plug a computer into it.

+1 my bbk h kicks ass,

~Whenever i put mine on my cel didn't even come on... i was driving one night down the road and i had to swirve. and go airborne, and it smashed a hole threw the drivers side pipe. so now the cel is on. it also hangs a lil lower then stock piping so be careful about dips and whatnot. ~

love it though.

Yeah, it definitly hangs alot lower than stock. Speedbumps will tear it up. But still, with the MIL eliminators, will you pass inspection if they just hook the computer up to your car?

If all they do is hook it to the comp... Then yes.. Because it will not register anything wrong with the car..
