oil cooler

hey guys i have this ford racing oil cooler part# M6642S101 i got it off a friend but i have no idea what oil filter it uses, does anyone know?

did you try the ph16 thats what a cobra with the oil cooler. It's either that one or the ph8a, whichever one is smaller

ya i got one the ph16, works fine, frams prob not the best filter to use though might buy a ford one when the snows gone

wix/napa gold are the same filters arnt they i thought wix makes napas filters either way i guess it doesnt matter then

thats correct, but in some towns the NAPA gold's may be more easily obtained, and vice versa.

ph3614 is a very small filter and its good for tight spaces. use it on my 351w. this is a fram #

Don't get me wrong, but Fram sucks. I used fram for over 15 yrs, and then went with the Napa gold filter. After using the Napa gold filters I have noticed that my oil stays cleaner much longer(visually).

I agree that shold use ford, I just couldn't remember the number, but for some reason I remembered the fram one. Probably from where I was, that's the autozone had and I never wanted to order it when it came time to change the oil, so I settled for a fram.
