Ok, just put the stroker in got everything hooked up...I have been driving it for a couple days now, and today I noticed oil dripping from my cold air intake filter....And when I started it up there was white smoke coming from my exhaust, and I am missing some oil....The only things that I can think of is either the pcv or the breather, but both hoses were dry...Any suggestions..? Any body else see this before?

Have the same problem on a 347 in a 89 lx. oil sits in the throttlebody. I would like some info on this too. I did the same and checked the pcv, and breather. I have also been told to check for blowby from the rings, and also maybe the tray under the lower intake is not installed right.

sounds like a lot of oil. i'd put a pcv filter on it (air compresor filter spliced in the pcv line). there s a how to in the how to section. might fix the problem

well which tube should i put a filter on...the breather out of the valve cover should have a filter...that leaves the pcv valve...which is pretty tight back there..? I read about a seperator is that what you mean?

Thanks justin

Why would this much oil be in my lower intake anyway....I read about blow-by but the motor is brand new, could it still be a factor....what can I do to stop it until my separator comes?

i'm not really sure, sounds like more oil than blow-by would cause...hopefully someone else will chime in..

How many miles are on the new motor? You may not have properly/entirely seated the rings causing excessive blow by. Take it out, warm it up and STAND on it a few good times in 3rd or 4th. AVOID DOWNSHIFTING and letting the motor slow the car down until they're seated.
