Moroso > Canton

It's for a 79-95 so yes it should fit but do you need it?

canton pans have a lip on the mating surface that works better with the cork style gaskets rather then the newer neoprene (or whatever their made of) one piece style gaskets. not a big deal. i have a canton pan on my motor with no complaints.

one thing to consider that you might not know or realize is the factory dip stick goes into the block. on the aftermarket pans the dipstick goes into the pan. if you are putting these style pans onto a stock block then you will have to plug the hole in the block.

Why not plug the hole in the oilpan and run with standard dipstick?

The oilpan only extend downwards so the markings on the stock dipstick should be accurate...

Remeber to get the right pickuptube for the oilpump if you buy a new oilpan.

factory pan had a out dent to clear, aftermarket does not so the hole is not totally clear for the tube / stick.

Well my moroso oilpan has the dent so I can run the stock tube/stick...
But you are right, not all pans has this so it's good to check it before you buy one!

Heres a pic, the dent is on the left side...
