Under the oil cooler (where your oil filter is) their is a plug where the stock sending unit is that you can thread into, a big sender wont work with you very well because the stock k wont let You

No, the electrical gauges are nothing like what we have stock. Presently we just have a temp switch that gives a reading in the dash gauge say low, normal & Hot. The electrical gauges have a temperature sender you install that gives a continuous analogue signal of the temp. to the new gauge. You get to see all the temps as they change & these gauges can be very accurate. They are so much easier to install with no chance of a tubing leak inside your car, or kinking the tubing. I much prefer the electric gauges over any mechanical ones.

I have a Electronic Oil pressure gauge. I installed the sensor right under the oil filter in the empty oil. Works like a charm.

I also have an electrical OP gauge, and no complaints here. If I remember correctly, I T'd off where the stock sender is and put a sender on each end.

the difference is the mechanical gauge uses a teflon or copper tube that pushes a diaphram in the gauge. an electrical uses signals through a box. both of which are accurate. the stock is junk.
