Oil pressure gauge?

My oil pressure gauge just quit working,my question is do you think it's the sensor?
If so where is it located if not what else could it be.

The sending unit is on the lower front driverside, just infront of your oil filter. Are you running an aftermarket guage? Whatever you do dont start the car until you can verify its the guage or sending unit that took a dump, not your pump.

Thanks,I know its the sending unit I replaced my timing chain cover ,and I think i may not have got the connector on there good im going to check .

My wire is fine, my sensor is new and mine still won't work. I just bought a aftermarket gauge...

What else could cause them to just stop working?
