Ok I have heard many debates about the 5 speed vs auto BS.. I love my 5 speed GTI.. But I also love my auto mustang.. We do a lot of racing out here whether it's at the track or "our" sanctioned track..
Dilemma is.. (a)Do I keep the stang auto, or (b) do I go 5 speed and get some nice 18's in the rear and some 17's up front,

But wait there's a (c)..

Do I pull my engine, turbo kit, etc and get a nice 6 speed, sell my roller as is for about 1500 or so..
And pick up a toy car to put it all in..

Turbo 5.0-6 speed miata..

Or (d)

Sell the mustang as is..

Buy this nice 6.0 lq4 block out of this wrecked escalade, h/c/I net 500 n/a rwhp and drop that in a miata..

And finally (e) buy the lq4 and k member for the mustang and swap it into the stang with an 88mm turbo and get 7-800 rwhp..

Hmmm FML..

Sounds like your bored with your ride already.

I would do a manual swap and then get ya a Lil coupe to put a LS motor in.

Thats what I really wanna build a Fox Coupe with a LS

Well not that I'm bored but I have to go for inspection for salvage title, and I sometimes think its be easier to just swap out the power plant.. I just made the hood and found out I can't use it because I don't have a receipt notarized with the original VIN number attached.. So to go through inspection I'd have to swap over to the fox throttle body setup, then find a replacement hood, and redo my intercooler piping... Again.. Hmm just frustrated I guess.. But then again I sometimes want a 5 speed for the fun of it lol..

I know the feeling being frustrated. I have a baby on the way so I'm scrounging just to get my engine back together to find out the new headgaskets are leaking and the new rear main seal leaks oil as fast as you put it in. I got pissed threw the car on craigslist as is and got a couple decent offers but they backed out. So here I am spending the couple bucks I have saved for another set of gaskets and hoping tomorrow night when I fire it up again that it is finally good, otherwise she may be done for quite awhile.

I hear ya Clark .. I have 3 kids, mortgage, and I bought a beater car and the wife the suv lol.. Times are tough, and don't get any easier.. I lost my job two says before my first child was born, I made a living putting front clips on cars for people and just normal body and paint work with my old pole barn.. Can't do shit now lol..

And ferocious.. That crossed my mind too lol.. But I think I'm just going to swap to a fox t/b and redo the intercooler piping on that side only.. Then swap to a stock hood, I'm going to airbrush real flames all over this hood with skulls and shit, and hang it in the garage lol..

Oh and as a side toy I'm going to look at a 98 miata with a bad motor Tom.. I'm thinkin explorer motor and t-5( I know it's weak, but let's face it this car will never hook hard enough to do anything but kill 225/55/15's lol) 7.5" with a set of 3.55's and either a blower or small t-60 turbo.. Most likely a rear mount.. But well see..

This can be aside project that will probably be drivable before the mustang.. Legally anyway lol..

There is a miata and rx7 that come to our local car shows that have really clean Ls swaps in them. I bet both of those cars move pretty good. Weird things is they are both old guys.
