So, I would like to get some input and possibly pictures from you guys! My headlights suck (Ofcourse...They are mustang headlights lol), and I am planning on getting them tinted. I have been considering getting some HID's, but I do not like the purple or blue tint at all...Can anyone post some input on the ones to get when looking for just a good, white light? Pictures would be awesome, as well!

DDM tuning is a great place to pick up HID's for cheap.

I'd get a 35w low beam set. 4300K color temperature... It lights up the road best and has the most neutral color.

I'm sure it will give you night and day difference over the stuff you have now.

Nice...thanks, guys! So what's with the bulb type? I'm assuming I don't need the HID harness, but what about the error eliminator? I'm new to all this! :p And what about a 'dimmer' version for the fog lights? Gotta match! lol

<-- 21 questions here!

No error eliminator needed.

The HID's will come with everything needed to install them onto our cars.

bulb type 9007 for headlights.

get the same style fog light 4500K as stated above. Use the 880 bulb.

This is 6000K, 4500K would be more white.

I got the 55watt 4500k hi/lo with the slim ballast, and the 35watt 4500k slim for the fogs so my lenses wouldn't melt. When you turn them on They look a little greenish but once they're warmed up they're very white and light up very well. I'll try to post pics tonight. I got mine from DDM, paid $100+ tax. One of my ballasts was defective from the get go, it wouldn't light up sometimes, so I went back, checked it out and they replaced it for free.

Ivan, dont you live with in driving distance of them though? lol. I got mine from DDM also but expect about a 2 week shipping process to the east coast from those guys. 01Sportchic, only expect to pay 100 for 2 kits (headlights and fogs) if you go with just headlights its only 45 bux or so.

Yeah it's like a 20 minute drive for me. Just a little advice for anyone planning on ordering from them, call them before you order something online. Sometimes they don't have all the colors in stock and they can take a couple extra weeks to send stuff out, I heard it happen while I was there.

I have I think the same lights, housing as you. I have 4300K in mine. I run hidguy.net's in mine. I love them! I 1st ordered those ddm ones. Forgot the exact reason, I didn't get them. Maybe they were out of stock? I then was turned onto hidguy. Here's some pics of mine.
Lights I have:

I have the ones everyone hates. But i like the 1 piece housing.. I got these with the car, traded for stock headlights and smoked corners, then traded them again for the same headlights back but from another person.

Just because the HID lights seem be alot better for night driving. They just bolt right in, plug and play, so to speak. they shine the same color as 1stof3 has posted..
