That's where the problem lies. Hopefully he started it up every once in a while and not just mothballed it. "Waking that car up" would blow every bearing and seal of that poor car. It would have been ok if he'd have taken it around the block every once in a while and let it warm itself up. Stale gas, 15 year old oil and grease. That stuff is probably like wax.....It's not good to let things sit like that.

16 miles is ridiculous but I see it as a waste. I know people like to collect cars but it's not what they were made for, there's no way you could enjoy a car like that by seeing it sit every day. As far as investments go cars suck, if he'd taken the money he paid for that and invested it correctly he'd have WAYYY more than 35 grand 15 years later.


A few years ago in Chicago i walked into a dealership and they had a '93 Cobra R #107 of 107 with like 20 miles on it all wrapped up sitting in the corner, I think he was asking 50g then for it...
