Why thank you for your comment, theres always one and you went ahead and got it out of the way early. I've got you quoted so that you can eat those words when I'm done. It needs a thorough cleaning, and will need a few things swapped out but all in all I could part it out and make more than I've got in it.

It needs some work, but it has potential.

lol you have no idea how right you are. However I've once again bought a sn95 for the wife, perhaps when I get this one finished I wont be so quick to sell it.

I'm not sure exactly, but I believe it to be the cervini's terminator hood. Plans are to pull that double stack wing, and replace w/the s281 wing. I've got the factory rear being painted to match the rest of the car, also pulling those rediculous side skirts off and contemplating doing a side exhaust a-la saleen style. The entire upr catalog seems to have found its way to the interior, and while I personally hate it, my wife (who I got the car for) loves it. The rims are a toss up, since I'm not sure if I'll keep them or not. I kinda half ass like 'em, but I'd love to get my hands on a set of 18" saleens, or even my old rim style back (99 cobra)

i like the sounds of the plans. 5.hoe's are cheaper motor modding wise. so good choice! :)

Yeah I've got a good N/A cam and a good set of heads from my last v6 build that I'm going to stick on a 4.2 shortblock I've had for a few years and call it a day. The only other thing I'd do to this car engine wise is a split port conversion on the above mentioned 4.2 shortblock with a windstar conversion. My wife will be using this as her daily driver, that being said I'm not looking to beef it up much engine wise. I'll gear the rear end and thats about it. I just plan on building her something that will make her happy and possibly turn a few of her friends heads.

Super Coupe conversion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did that with the last one, and sold it the day I got it tuned (while at the tuner's shop no less) for about 3 times what I had in it.

Well 5.0 ... 3.8.... They are all pushrods :)

the stroker sounds like it will be pretty cool! Turn a few heads it will!

It's been a while since I've played around with the 3.8. Ford made a fairly good little sixxer when they put this thing together (head gasket issues a-side that is)

just joking, im looking forward to see what you make of it and how you correct the obvious issues the car has currently, by all means i wish you the best of luck and cant wait to see what you do with it but again, as it sits, the car looks to be a mess

btw, is the passenger seat pulled out of it???

Well, after this weekend I can see why it was just a gimme car. The wiring and electrical are a nightmare, I'm not sure who did the wiring but its half assed and there are multiple problems with the car. ::Sigh:: here we go again :D

Oh well looks like The PhatMan is going to have to pull a Larry the Cable Guy and 'Get-er-done'.

The car has some obvious exterior flaws, as well as interior "charracteristics" that will need changing. First and foremost I'm looking for a set of 99-04 leather front seats, I've got my spare set of fox seats in it. I will have to completely tear out the wiring and re-do the stereo install. The door popper kit mysteriously stopped working and I think the coil pack is going out on it. Oh well its not like I don't have a GT to built as well... guess I'll be like Dalmar and have two different project cars going at the same time, now if I could just get his shop and get him to fund one of the builds I think I'd feel better about it.

And btw I never took any offense, I was just yanking your chain. Trust me if no-one else knows this car needs work its me. :D

It'll get fixed, just takes time and some determination. That is if I don't blow the damned thing up first.

yeah I expected there to be a few problems with the car, after all I when I looked it over I doubted anything on it worked. Imagine my surprise when nearly everything proved me wrong. I've got a set of 75lb door poppers, and another keyless entry kit already, just gotta go pick 'em up and install. I think I've figured out the no start issue as well. might not be as bad as I was anticipating. At least I hope it isn't anyway.
