anybody using a On3 kit? ive googled and searched and got mixed reviews all the way from a HIGH quality kit....to looks like a kindergartener welded the flanges on the manifolds.

ive also read the included turbo is shit..worse then ebay units but the upgraded ones such as the 78mm one are quality..

just wanting to get someone on here that has used it or know somebody that has?

also want to know if i HAVE to buy an aftermarket tubular k member?

thanks guys/gals

Right, the included turbo isn't the best and would be worth it to upgrade to the Master Power Turbo or Turbonetics if you have the money.

Yes you absolutely need to have a tubular k, unless you are willing to completely re-do the hot side, and then I am not sure that you would be able to get the pipes around the stock k.

I don't have it but have done lots of research on it. From what I have read, for the money it is a quality kit. I guess in the beginning they had a few kits that had bad welds, but since then have corrected it. Once I get my car paid off I think this will be coming my way.

they use to be a sponsor here and had someone on that had one. They said they had it on for years and no problems. I have been considering them for a while now.

I have one on my 95 with no major issue love the kit for the money. The way I see it it a great starting point that can be upgrade easily. I daily driver my car and give it hell. the turbo, waste gate and blow off that come with the kit are knock off but work great I have had no issue. Again for the money I would recommend it.

Here my build link. http://sn95forums.com/showthread.php?42646-95-GT-on-3-performance-turbo-build

Master power is out of business. On3 has a new billet wheel ball bearing turbo they offer with the kit as an upgrade now, and supposively it is better than the MP's. I have read mixed reviews on the kits for the past couple years, but have talked to a couple people that have ran them for a long time with no issues. I am going to be ordering one in the next month or 2 most likely, and i'll post about my thoughts on the kit when all is said and done. For the money, i think it's the best bang for the buck. Just my .02

I strongly considered this kit...it seems affordable, but once you factor in the tubular K, coilovers, fuel upgrades, etc...it gets pretty pricey and very labor involved. I ended up going with a Vortech kit.

I considered it too because the advertised price looks very appealing, but once you start upgrading the numbers go up quick. I got carried away with my S/C setup, and almost everyday I wish I had gone simple with the Vortech.
