BBK Long Tubes are probably the best long tube header out there for what they cost.

Good solid product.

I don't know much, but I do know that BBK makes pretty good stuff! I think you'll like them. Surely someone has them on here.

I have BBKs on mine too and yeah they changed color within 3 cycles....
But they fit well otherwise. If you can pop for them get the ceramic coating. I might get mine recoated while they are off the car.

Yeah ive got them on my 94 as well they fit nice, changed color sometime after, no pitting though. they dont make a tube for your egr long enough, so youll have to make one or cap it off at the tb adapter and header or make your own tube.

I too have the foxbody longtubes on my 95.. work great and sound awesome. I bought them used and they have a little bit of
blueish discoloration here and there, but for the most part they are silver.

Gonna whore this thread, sorry. I thought you could not have LT's on lowered cars! Who knows where I got this from, I just did. Also, is there anything that one can do about them changing colors? That does not really change up anything, right? Just appearances only, I'm guessing. Your car sounds much better with LT vs shorties, correct?

LT's on Lowered cars just sort of depends on the vehicle, springs, etc etc.. My longtubes only scrape entering sloped car wash bays,
or speedbumps, with Eibach Prokit. The changing colors is just cosmetic, no performance changed because of it, ceramic coating is the only
true way to make sure that they stay the same color. As far as sound goes, that is preference, i've had both shorties and LTs on my car and
i would never switch back to shorties.

I have had them on my car for about 8 months. They are pretty good quality, I have bassani on my car though and still feel their quality beats everyone. I had no issues with them rubbing or hitting. My old shorties and x pipe would hit on speed bumps and other things with 1/2 coil cut Eibach Pro kit but with the long tubes they are 1 1/2 inches off the ground and they scrape on pretty much anything. They will hang lower then your normal exhaust.

If you are set on going to Longtubes go with the BBKs. If you are worried about appearance though paint them or get them ceramic coated because they discolor damn near immediately.

Great products, only thing I got to say is good luck installing those longtubes without jacking the motor up!

I honestly tried to. I don't see how you could ever even come close.

As long as it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to have a shop put them on that's defiantly the rout I'm going to go. If it is to much then I'm going to go to a Buddy's and attempt it.

Dude save yourself some money and get some experience. You and a buddy can knock it out in a day easily! Don't be afraid of it. It is the exact same as putting in regular headers. To get the motor mounts undone to jack up the motor its one nut on each side and the steering shaft is one bolt. I did it by myself in my apartment parking lot with basic hand tools.

That's cool, all i have is basic tools and i live in a apt. so that was one of the things I was worried about. I have installed headers be for but it was on Honda's..... I would like to do it my self and i think I can do it. I'm just lazy some times lol.

Ahh its a piece of cake man, i have BBK longtubes, love em. Save yourself the headache and BUY HEADER LOCKS the first time, or you WILL be buying new header gaskets every couple of months. They are cheap enough and you never have to fart with the bolts again until its time to take the headers off.
