one of the AM employees told me in person that they wouldnt ever use their car covers for outdoor use. he said theyre not good for much more than a garage dust cover.

I thought I heard that AM's cover was 1 of the best!! Not sure where I heard it. It was on another forum I frequent, not this one. They are worth the higher price, I think.

I could really use one of these myself. My car has been outside for about 6 months and is a mess. I need to buff it out and get it pretty again but my garage is full of stuff from my move. Maybe a cover is what i need.

The one I got from autozone is doing the trick for me. But in San Diego theres no such thing as weather. 70-80 degrees everyday of the year...

There is one trick about cats on cars, do not just scare them off the car when you catch them on it. That is when they will most likely scratch the paint. Coax them off in a more subtle way.

The trick is to hit them while they're thinking about jumping on it.like when they come up to the side of it, look up, and start to pounce, then BLAST EM

haha yeah... when my grandpa found cats on his old ranchero with a 429 he would let me pelt em with my old airsoft gun and we never saw them again. haha well he's only gotten on my car once but i threw him back about 10 feet or so. that should do the trick. but as of now, the mach 1 stays in the garage with the door closed unless its being driven or washed.
