ok i want opinions on my mods and really on the feeling that the cars has to them .

got 3.73 clogs
K&N FIPK kit
70mm throtlebody
C&L intake elbow
ported Flow meter
O/R exhaust with flows
XXX brand under drive pullies (dunno what brand are the pullies , but there purple)

OK so heres my question , my car usually fells a "little" bit slow off the line , but when i hit 3,000 RPM the car starts pulling hard , i got 275/40/17 tires and when i hit this the tires spin up to 5,000 RPM .
I have thought it has to do with the timing been pulled cuz of the cell light of the O/R exhaust . But some people have told me i got a chip or some sorta tune , i got the car used and it had some mods already on it and i dont really know if it got this.
Any one has this type of power band feeling , or any comments please tell.

Basically (so I understand), you are experiencing a lackluster off the line performance, and a surge from 3000 through redline?

That is weird, I never experienced that, at least not without a blower. The ported MAF, TB, C&L are all overkill on a stock NPI though. And, depending how the MAF was ported, it may very well be lean, or not reading the airflow properly. Do you have access to a stock one to swap on and try?

If you are concerned about a chip or tune, your computer is located in the passenger side kickwell, just ahead of the door. Easy to check for a chip. As for a tune, I'm not sure about this, but you may be able to clear it (you will definately be able to clear any "Learned" ECU behavior), by unhooking the battery for about 5 to 10 minutes.

get a xcal or diablo tuner.. it helps ALOT.. mine went from pulling up top to pulling down low.. as soon as i hit 1500 i start to spin.. all i got is exhaust, gears, CAI, and shift kit.. tuner pulled it all together though

well have not checked the ecu , but i have disconnected the battery several times. When i do this the car feels awsome and the torque is very strong off the line , i like how it performs when its like this but after several hours driving it stars to get like this , surging after 3,000 RPM . I'm gonna do a a video on it so you guys can see what i mean. Also i got an A/F gauge and it does not read lean when im at WOT.

you said your CEL's on right? well if it is.. that means the computer limp mode is in action.. like i said, turn the rear o2's off and time it up, and bump the fuel.. you'll be surprised

Ok then the computer is falsly correcting something it shouldn't be. It may be the MAF, or not. The best thing is to either get it on a dyno, or get a tuner from someone who will work with your datalog's via email

what about some MIL eliminators? to knock out the cel/pulled timing caused by your o/r exhaust?
