Great buy.. You did good.. With everyones help one here pretty sure you can get it back to its prime... Intake can prob be welded

Thanks! The intake is fine on this Cobra...we were talking about a GT above that Thomas Lee was passing on due to possible overheating with the potential intake problem. The only problem with this Cobra seems to be a clutch issue which I didn't feel driving it for the short time I did. I think the whole car is mechanically fine. I consider it a lucky find up to this point.

Yes, I did NOT do that to the wheels....never would have. They are painted too, not even powdercoated. My buddy owns a powdercoating shop so those will be changed. Not sure why he painted them but yes, I was disappointed.

I'm actually thinking about making a "sleeper" out of it....leave the body really rough and mod it up a bit....decisions decisions.....

That would be cool. But I don't think cobras could be seen as sleepers..
