I think I am going to do it, but still want opinions. First picture is as the car looked 2 hours ago. 2nd picture is my first attempt at photoshopping. I would not be painting those wheels black, I actually have black Bullitts in the garage, and just wanted an idea how black wheels would look with the changes.

Now:

With the changes:

not diggin the black accents at all! Sorry

Is it cause you don't like black or you don't like it on my car? Thinking of doing this because the hood scoop is oxidized and I was thinking a general change might be nice... I could do this for a couple hundred dollars. Already have black wheels, so they will go on either way.

I am thinking I like it, but still not 100%. Also kind of thinking with the stripes, it looks kind of V6 like, but without the stripes, it looked stupid.

maybe its just that shade of black thats been used....IMO, id leave the gas cap and the wing the stock color...and the hood scoop in a black that matches the lip and mirrors...like a matte black? If you are set on doing some black accents to your car....

If you have the rims already, why not just put them on to see how you like it? I bought the black fuel door for mine! Just go from there. I did not see the wing was black. I'd leave that alone.

The stripe would be the last thing to go on, once I see if I like it without. The wheels have to wait, end of summer is here and I can't see buying and putting on drag radials this late in the year, they will go on the car in the spring.

I thought about flat black, but the guy at the body shop said it will fade fast, and I should really think about clearcoat.

i'm with magic on this one. just put the wheels on it and paint the scoop then some lowering springs and you'll be set. also i hope the wheels have some kind of a polished lip to offset all that black in the wheelwell

If your body guy could paint the scoop matte black it would look pretty sweet. With some black wheels it would almost give it that mach 1/ bullitt look.

I am much more sober than last night, lol, and looking at the pic I think it might be overkill. My thoughts now are just the scoop and a black fuel door, I think UPR has black ones, if I remember correctly.
And I may start hinting on putting a rush on the tires I was supposed to have gotten in the spring (the wheels have been waiting a year now for tires).

Rear is tinted. Took it off passenger and driver windows cause I was tired of getting tickets.
