Here is a pic of one of the wheels:

I got 17x8 for the front and 17x10.5 for the rear.

Started saying yesterday I want to get the tires soon.

Thank you! It's been killing me to have them sitting for a year (think I bought them last August). Today I ordered the lugs and yesterday I told him I want to get the tires, and I'm going to mention it again tomorrow.

how is your paint oxidized? it's like 5 years old lol

to be honest mel, I really think you should just get the scoop painted stock color, maybe think about the black gas cap and instead use your money for some lowering springs. even just a pro kit would look really good.

I just don't think a stock suspensioned mustang can pull off rims. except for that guy with the yellow car and the 03 cobras with black on the inside lol

My car didn't come with a scoop. I bought the car used, and it was there when I bought it. I have to assume the previous owner bought one, had it painted and put on there. The rest of my paint is nice, it's just the scoop, so I'm guessing it's because it's not factory paint.

And I have H&R SS springs sitting in the garage. I need to come up with money for shocks/struts/cc plates before I can put them on.

Now I'm thinking I don't want to spend the money on the scoop, cause I'm going to try to push for tires, so I will probably just wet sand it.

Not sure what I was thinking, I like the car kind of plain looking anyway, I think I was just wanting to do something new and the scoop was bugging me.

I think the stripes make it look tacky, that goes for any mustang, not just yours. And as far as the other accents, a satin black spoiler and hood scoop could look good. Maybe even paint the whole center section of the cowl black?

Now that PS made a world of difference, looks real nice.

Agreed!!!! I would print that bad boy and follow the formula. Smoked headlights, lowered (more important than the rims IMO), light tint, rear spoiler delete, repaint scoop blue, mount rims and tires. Did I miss anything? Mach chin spoiler and grill is a real good start.

Thank you Soddy!!! That looks awesome! I do want to (and plan to) go wingless, but that's gotta wait awhile, since I moved the spoiler back 3 inches a couple years ago, I now have 12 holes in the decklid instead of 6.

That is VERY similar to my appearance goals for the car, but the winglessness will have to wait until I am done with performance, and the wheels will come before lowering, simply because I chose the black bullitts because I liked the way they looked, but I mainly bought them because I wanted the drag radials for the track. It's more important to me to hook at the track than to look good, and I have been dying to get back to the track, so the wheels will come before lowering.
