Original Paint ??

Yesterday i visited a black 94 Mustang GT with my buddy, he will maybe buy it (if yes pics will follow), the owner of the GT is a Car/Mustang Nut, owns a 79 Fox Body Pace Car, 97 Cobra and a Dragster Fox Body.

When he saw my paint of my GT he said that the Paint is Damn Hot but he thinks its NOT the Original Paint
He thinks its a Audi/Porsche or Ferrari Red, he brang a Mustang prospect and asked "what do you think is the name of your color?"
I said " Vibrant Red" , in the prospect, Ford mentioned that the Vibrant Red is only for the GT, after that he wasnt that sure anymore but still said its a Red from another brand :tard:

Anyway its a stupid question i know, but i cant compare here with other mustangs because they are relatively rare.......look at the pics and say what do you think .....

Google what the VIN codes mean on our cars and then look up the paint code to see what exactly the original color from the factory was...or if it is vibrant red.

from lookin at different mustangs on google with Vibrant Red, they all look exactly like yours.....looks like you have a pretty rare/awesome color.....

Thx for the help guys, i found out that the paint code of the Vibrant Red is "ES", so i looked at my Vehicle Information at the door and VOILA "Paint/Ext: ES"

1994, Ford painted approx. 2.4k mustangs in that Red and 95 only 1.6k Mustangs, one of the rarest Colors from that model, never knew that :laughing4:
