I tryed the Meguires Clay first and it didn't get much more than 1/2 the paint off.

the Blue Magic worked WAAAY better. faster and got it all off.

I got it at a local automotive / aftermarket distribution co (called Davis Dist.)
Check into it if you need clay, pateneted formula ect ect.

it's called: Blue Magic clay bar.

Here's the other cars I did last week.

the pics are off my phone, but it shows it pretty good.

Here's a shot of the Spray:
clayed off the left side...

White Grand Am - the whole car was filthy, probably never washed.
Here's a little spot of what was on the whole car.
I had to wipe the car with laquer, then cleaner, then buff, then wax.

very nice man. they look suppper clean. you are gettin good at it from the looks of it. i need to learn how to detail my car like that. i have no clue what clay bars are (im guessing bars of clay.. but i dont know the advantages of them and what they are used for), im okay at waxing by hand, i have a PC but dont know how to use it, its a pretty old school one... idk i just need to learn how to detail better. awesome job dalamar!

Here's a nice BMW I did today.

I used the Poor Boys EX sealant / wax for the final.
Let it sit for 1 hr.

Here's the beef.

Before
the Over spray doesn't show up much because of the color & metalic.

Check out the OS the clay pulled off the roof.

The owner of the Beamer had an oops yesterday.
scraped the side of the garage. He asked me if I could do something with it.

So I put the SSR3 and 2.5 to work.

OK, the Black BMW is DONE!

THis is the first Car I clayed with the Meguires clay. It didn't do a very good job.
I spoke with the guy, told him I needed a more agressive clay and would finish another day.
He was gone for a week or so.

So I got that Blue clay magic and the more agressive Poorboys polishes, done a few cars as seen in this thread.

This really shows the process, Black Shows EVERYTHING!!!
Here's the decklid. I clayed half of it with the Megs clay last time. here's the overspray. this car had alot on it.
(THIS IS WASHED!)
BBdeckbefore.jpg

The hood, that I clayed with Megs clay.... It's also pretty scuffed up. ALOT of swirls and scratches.
you can see the specs that are left on it.
BBhoodbefore.jpg

SO, to start - I washed the car and dryed it.
Good from far, far from good.
