SOTP dyno says very very little actual HP gain, less of a power drop in the higher RPMs though

DONOT USE NPI GASKETS....ive done the swap atleast 10x with both sets and lemme tell you, ud rather have the chance of coolant leak with Pi gaksets instead of one of 8 cyls leaking on the manifold with npi gaskets...I dont care what you herd or read..if you wanna do it once then do it rite..PI gaskets ,break off the little plastic nubs on them and RTV the corners of the 2 coolant ports...

atleast then you do it worng you know its wrong rite away as ulle see it leak...OOORRRRR use npi gaskets and try finding where your vacuum leak is which could be on any spot from the gasket...
PI gasket is wayyy better intake port matched...keep that in mind...
now go do it correct...or post pics using the npi gasket and i wanna see all the extra time you take...

and ya, just api intake will do you no good unless you have the Pi cam to allow the more airflow....i act gained nothing from a pi intake swap alone, but when i added the pi cams it knocked like .2 or something...

I disagree strongly with this, I have done it with both gaskets and the PI leaked almost immediately, the non-pi gaskets are still sealed fine years later

Same here no problems after a number of years. NPI gaskets with no leaks. I got 7rwhp, according to the dyno, but lost a few ftlbs torque and at the time had I had PI cams installed already. For me it allowed the engine to pull 500rpm up top.

Is your stock intake leaking? If not, I wouldn't bother with installing a PI intake on a NPI motor. If it is leaking, go to the junkyard and get an updated aluminum crossover intake off an NPI motor. I've seen alot of Crown Vics with these. I wish I would have done this instead of the PI intake swap. I've tried twice to install the PI intake (with PI gaskets), and it STILL leaks..........My next move is to do the full PI swap. Mainly, so I can have a dependable DD that doesn't leak coolant.
