P0136- Downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor circuit fault - Bank No. 1.
P0156- Downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor circuit fault - Bank No. 2.

I have mil's for my o/r x and didn't get these codes until be dropped the pipe a couple weeks ago. Is it possible that my mil's just went bad on me or is there somthing else i should look for. I find it hard to beleive that both mils went at the exact same time. If the mil's were fine but the o2's themself were bad would changing those help anything?

no, wont change anything. go back down there and make sure all the connections are clean and that they are attached, that none of the wires got loose

If it were the mils being bad/disconnected w/e wouldn't it give me a code for malfunctioning cats?

yes and no. in this case, its not telling you that they arent there or that the cats arent working, its telling you there is a problem with the signal they are sending. check out this site: http://home.comcast.net/~miracerros/dtc_powertrain_1.htm
