Well I can't say I'm surprised, given my luck with cars in the past, the CEL came on today. I know I need to update my sig, but it's a 96 GT with Procharger. Code is P0174 which generally seems to be running lean or O2 sensor. Any thoughts on where to start given the blower? It has 92,600 miles on it.

If its going lean you need to see if its a cause or effect (its lean because the fuel pump, lack of supply caused it to be lean) or an effect as the up stream 02 is getting lazy or failing.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll start knocking them out with my mechanic friend, probably next week. Not going to get driven much anyway this week.

if you're not getting any bucking or jerking (lean misfire) i'd say the primary o2 for whatever bank that code corresponds to is going bad/is bad.

to be lean enough to get that code you would notice a difference in driveability.

what all is done to the car bone stock with procharger nothing else?

aside from suspension mods, yeah, that's all I know of. But that's the difficulty of getting a pre-modded car...the previous owner had it for about 3 years, and it was an owner before him that did all the work (and the previous owner, the one I bought it from...not the brightest bulb in the box).

haha, but those cars are the most fun.............. lol

Good luck, and the 02 sugggestion is a good one. I would replace the fuel filter first tho, they are much cheaper. oh, and check your spark plugs..... easy stuff first man!
