Paint/Body Work

I just recently brought a really cheap E250 to use as a work van for my business but it need alot of cleaning, paint peeling, some rust here and there. Any suggestions on getting the body ready for paint? What about the rusted area? Whats all needed to get the paint off and what tools do i need.I want to get the body of the van looking better. Any suggestions/help will be greatly appreciated thanks.

i do body woirk, its not something you can just learn or do over night and makei t look good.... good paint work is only possible with the best of prep work.

as far as the rust, cut and replace if possible if not get it as clean as possible, ie grind then seal with a rust inhibitor

Im not painting it. I just want to prep the car fpr the paint its my work van so its not big deal how it come out plust its a cheap paint job. Any paint would look better than it does now.
