I have seen more and more sn95er's doing it i just need some more solid input on if i should do it or not i hate the fact that my mirrors are starting to fade even after back to black is applied to them. My concern is how safe is it to do what are the chances that the paint could crack and peel off even if there is a good prep job..., Are there some color stangs that just looks better with them factory black because i am not sure how lazer red would look im feeling a little to much red and only dark color stangs could pull it off.. :snow_cool:

I think the mirors look good painted on any color stang, if anything looks better on lighter colors because it stands out a lot more. Yellow stang looks great.

painted mirrors FTW! they look good on all colors, although i'm not sure that black cars would gain a lot of benifit from it,
but it would still probably look better then too.

Man i really like how the painted mirrors look, I'm definitely having mine done over winter. At least, that's the plan.

yeah it looks like he's had the wiper cowl painted as well. I've got an extra cowl that I could paint body color, but I just dont' know if I want to mess with it. I've never seen a car in person with this done and I'm just not sold on doing it... It will probably get painted when we paint my other stuff though, might as well if I've just got an extra lying around.

Painted is the way to go no matter what color the car is. They look 100000x better. As long as they are prepped good they will be fine.

When I get my roush body kit(sometime next summer) I will get it painted along with my mirrors. I love the look of painted mirrors!
