Well opinions aside I thought I would share my newest project for my 95 GT. Car is currently faded vibrant red on silver steeda 5 spokes. Since a paint job around my area costs 1500 I'm going to take matters in my own hands and try something new. I'm going to Plastidip the whole car matte white. And the wheels matte black. And to top it all off the calipers will be lime green. Something new to some people but I'm going to give it a try! I will post the final result as soon as possible! Can always reverse it :D

Actually $1500 is very cheap. Is that a maaco bargain spray or something?

Well have fun with that.. Personally I think it's going to look awful, but as you said.. you can take it off.

It was a local paint shop that I have had a lot of work done with. The plastidip is just a new and fresh idea. I've seen a few other cars done and I thought it looked pretty good. The key to it is that is is relatively low maintenance especially when this is going to be a dedicated track car soon. Gotta protect the little bit of good paint I have lol. Also, this car goes to a lot of different car shows and meets so its just a new way to look at a car. And it attracts attention for my company.

Go for it! go to dipyourcar.com - they have whole car kits in a huge array of colors. Look them up on youtube too. The guy Fonzie (head of dipyourcar.com) does his own audi S4 and shows whole car kits, wheels, trim, emblems etc.
