paint the mirrors?

my passenger side mirror is the worse of the 2, the top edge has basically faded into white, no matter how often I apply 303 to them...


I have the smooth mirrors so painting should be pretty trivial.


but how should I paint them, black again with SEM trim black, or match the car? I have a spray can of laser red from a paint touch up place that I'm going to be using to repair some rash on my rear bumper from the P/O so I have more than enough paint to do both mirrors, just not sure if I'd like the look on my car.

I've always liked the terminator mirror look, but I refuse to spend that much money on an appearance item, let alone mirrors :laughing5:

I like it too but I'm just not sure because of the rubber around the back of the mirrors, I always think that looks weird because the color on the mirrors doesn't go up to the a-pillar, meh

I painted mine this year to match the body color but nothing looks bad on DFG......

I'd leave it black... for some reason laser red matched mirrors look cheap more often than not.

Mine are 2 piece folding mirrors so I will paint the mirror body color and the back plate black to blend with that trim piece and hide it.

I painted the mirrors on my roush. It looks extremely clean and IMO looks way better than the cobra mirrors. Sorry for the shitty picture but the car is on jackstands currently...
