I doubt this is the right place to post this thread, but here goes anyway. The previous owner of my black 96 cobra thought it would look good to paint all the silver pieces on the car gold. This includes the cobra side emblems, the pony on the front, around the ford and svt emblems on the back and even the key locks. What he didn't realize however, is that it faded really bad and looks like crap now. I am going to just replace the cobras and rear emblems most likely, but for the key holes, what would be a good type of paint to use on them. I am open to any suggestions here, even a way to just clean the gold paint off and get them to the original color. I was thinking about maybe trying to paint them black, but 1. I don't know how it would look and 2. it would probably just fade like the gold did... let me know what you guys think....
