I painted mine 2 year ago when I had the car painted. I had some Duplicolor caliper paint kit laying around so I used the caliper cleaner and tape included to do the job. I ended up leaving the calipers on the car and masking off the wheel well. Then I removed the bracket and painted that separate. For paint I used some Duplicolor Hi-Temp wheel paint that matched my color perfectly, with flake and all. The paint was tricky to spray because there was so much flake that it looked like you were spraying only flake. I had to use about 5-6 coats to get even coverage on the calipers. After that I used some high temp black paint and brushed it on the caliper where its labeled COBRA. I was really happy with how it turned out and how the paint has lasted over the last 2 years.

I've been toying with painting my Brembos gold. Can we see a couple pics of them on the car?

Huh, I've never seen heat temp gold paint.
Those actually look fantastic!
And they are pretty much the only thing on your car that's gold, right?

BTW, welcome to the corral!
You found a gem when you landed on this forum!

Yup, really glad to find this forum. Only thing gold except driving it.
I also have a 15 GT PP1, (belong to M6G forum) but in some ways the 02 is more enjoyable, to do with the smaller size and feeling part of the car.35DDA7DF-5257-4BC7-A147-B36FC8BF6448.jpeg
