It really comes down to how much wheel gap you have. White lips on a white car look good if the stance is perfect, but if you have too much wheel gap it will make the car look higher than it is. We say go for it, nothing wrong with trying something new. Would the wheel centers be gloss black? If so that would match your dark tinted windows. Do you have any pics of your car you can post so we can get a better idea of what it'd look like?

sorry I couldn't get to you to talk you out of it sooner. Unfortunatly there is a reason you do not see many white wheels and that is because they are white right up until the first time you use your breaks and then every time after they slowly become grey. I had while wheels on my cbr600f2 and learned the leason to not do white wheels. But oh well, enjoy them right up until your foot is on the brake.

I like them and maybe would have went white all the way through to the back of the wheel.

Good coat of wax and sealant should deter any discoloring if its kept up with.

trust me, you can't keep white wheels white if you plan on driving it. You will be absolutely amazed how much dust comes out of there I swear. Painting the back would have made it even worse to clean

come back here in a month and give me your HONEST impression on if it was worth it? It looks cool but only as long as you don't drive it.....

I have to agree with scott, we painted a set of rsx rims white, they looked awesome too, until they needed to be put to use. Since they have been painted bronze ha.

Maybe if you build up a ton of polyeurethane clear or an epoxy type deal so you are only cleaning the clear part, not the white. but that could cause lovely problems somehow.

I swear I kept my bikes wheels well waxed and yet it I would laugh only because it was the only reaction I could do. Two stop signs, and at the first light 2 miles from my house after a fresh wax I could already see it building up. After a couple of hours of good use the front would look like I never touched it....
