Painting Export Mirrors

I need to paint one set of my Export Mirrors because of severe sun fade. I am leaning towards going with the base in black and the folding mirror section in DFG to match the car. Other option is to go all DFG.

You refer to "one of your export mirrors sets"...do you happen to have another set?

The base on the exports isn't plastic IIRC, they are heavy and I believe all metal. (been a few months since I had them out of the box)

I have 2 sets... I bought a back up set incase some idiot side swipes me.

The base is metal. Keep the base black, im finally going to get mine on too this spring.

This. If you wanted them all one color, go back to the stock ones. You could however, paint the base a semi-gloss black or something, just to have a finish put on them. I dont know what the base is made out of or how durable they are.

leave the base black. If you don't like it, it would be easily to go back and have them painted. Much easier than not liking the all dfg, and going to a black base.

I am going to do the base in black and the mirror section in DFG. I might get into this tomorrow since I found 3 cans of DFG paint on Amazon and the weather looks to be nice here.

Not really interested in selling my second set as of now and JB has first dibs if I do... plus they would be insanely expensive

I think the black/red would go good with your taillight bezels.
