painting side mirrors body color?

he said because its on a different body style (99-04) that it is different than the 94-98. he said it should fit any 99-04, but not the 94-98. thats just what he said. dont shoot the messenger.... haha

well thanks snoball, now i know. Those mirrors painted body color would look pretty sick, but they are a little on the pricy side right now. maybe a later project... : for now, paint the stockers.

I tried to get pics for you but the camera isnt working, says an error and wont turn on. I think painted stockers look as good if not better anyways. I plan to paint my cowl and mirrors sometimes soon also!

i checked at my local ford dealership and my parts "guru" said that the 03-04 cobra mirrors will only fit 99-04, although i heard from some random mustang guy that they should fit, so i dont know who to believe, but i think i will just stick with my stock ones and paint them. I'm going to assume that the parts dept. is right, that the 03-04 cobra mirrors wouldnt fit.

they fit, i have seen plenty of sn95 with them...and they are shweet, but expensive. :'(

Don't see any reason why they would not fit, because the body, minus fenders, etc.., of the sn95 and new edge stangs are the same. hell if you wanted to you could have a new edge 50 just by swapping sheet metal.

Cobra mirrors looks stoooopid! lol They should have painted the WHOLE thing, not just the part that sticks out.. haha! I think the Stockers painted look way better than Cobra Mirrors. Plus, the only difference is that they fold... Woop'T'fuckin'doo! :hammer:

i would guess just like any other used body part, sand it with 500 grit, then prime and paint
