I like it, but i dont think its direct plug and play as they make it sound. It comes with all the sending units though...

autometer makes a full pod now....looks much better than that. That looks like KITT from Knightrider.

there was a thread on here about the kind of tach. used in this gauge setup. it talks about how the
human eye can predict a needle style (factory or autometer) as apposed to a digital readout.
if it was a decent and practical idea, they would be putting them in more cars now-a-days.
autometer FTW!

This one has the lights to show the RPMs/speed. So I highly doubt that the numbers flashing would make that much of a difference as long as you knew somewhat where the RPMs were vs where the lights are on the gauge.

I'll have to look at the autometer one before I make a decision.

Then you fill it with your choice of gauges...they have different layouts. look at summit or autometer's site.

These parts showed up at my house last week....

I'll post installed pics, just don't hold your breath waiting for them, because it's not likely to get done for a couple of months.

+1. then you would have to add a running led lamp to your hood, and wear a cool watch of course

the panel is around 120 i think, and depending on which you get, the tachs and speedos go for around 140, and all others guages go for about 40-60

but what happens to your turn signals and the check engine light when you put this Autometer panel in?

I'm just going to drill holes in the centre of the autometer panel, and install indicator lights for;
- Turn Signals
- High Beams
- Cruise Indicator (although I can't seem to find the circuit on my factory dash)
- Check Engine, Oil Press, High Temp, etc.
- Plus this also lets me get rid of the useless lights (anti-theft, ABS, seatbelt, etc)

Then I'm just going to splice into the factory harness to run these indicators. It's a bit of work, but I hope it will be worth it in the end.

hmmm... that does sound like a bit of work. I wish someone would make a complete cluster for our cars like they make for the modular mustangs..... i'd buy one!
