Parking Brake Handle question

I did a search, and either didn't use the correct combo of keywords, or nobody has asked before
Is there a way to shorten the handle slightly, or an aftermarket alternative? I have a Console delete Idea but the Handle interferes with the Shifter housing portion of the delete I am trying to make. I COULD possibly make a divot on that portion like the Factory console, but would rather not

Just delete the mechanical brake and go electric parking brake. There are quit a few options for the electric brake.
