I crashed my baby a crystal white 94 cobra # 17 with black leather . Trying to decide on weather to scrapout or rebuild

The motor trans have 6000 miles on them the rear,suspention,tires and wheels have 1500 on them . the interior is perfect. the nose and the tail are wasted

Wow build #17 is low so that might make it worth keeping depending on how mangled overall it is.

I'd lean towards a rebuild if there's a bunch of sentimental value towards it.. plus I absolutely love white cobras.

will insurance help with rebuild at all? or did they total it? that could be a big factor too...

Honestly sounds totalled, if you had liability on it, Id just part it out. If full coverage, see what the offer is, then buyback from insurance and part it out. Im sure buyback will be low on a 94 mustang. I bought a 2000 trans am ls1 6 speed back for 1200.

I'd buy a donor car and move all the parts over to it. Your car sounds like it was pristine before the wreck.

If it was worth anything being a low build number I don't think it's going to be after being crashed. If you want to keep the car rebuild it, if you wanted it as an investment then part it out.

Buy a 99+ V6 with a blown engine and transfer all the cobra parts into it.
I found one here locally for 1200, the paint was in great shape.

The original Cobra is worth crap after being wrecked.

x2 no one is going to want a rebuilt cobra.
