Parts for an aluminum 03 Mountaineer engine

I have a motor out of a 03 mountaineer in 96 base model mustang and I was wondering if it was the same motor that came in the 99-04 gt's? If I were to buy cams and other parts would I just shop for parts for the 99-04 mustang gts?

should be the same but with an aluminum block.

you can use it. intake may be different. im not thorough on the exploder/mountaineer breathing section. cams are the same though.
