patriot performance heads.. hot or not??

I have windsor jrs to replace my E7 heads for now but I plan to upgrade and rebuild my short block with dished pistons sooner or later. Staying with the budget brawler theme, patriot performance's heads seem to be right up my alley. They offer good flow numbers etc and all that is great on paper, but does anyone have any real world experience with these heads? My mech says to stay away but he's a AFR and RHS dealer...

lol. It's really worth spending the money on quality heads, even if you buy a used pair to save some money.

I thought about patriot heads, I was told they won't stand against a ported and polished pi head. But I have no experience to back this up with, so yeah..
