pi Cam And Intake

Intake cracked this week called Ford they said recall ended in 2005 for this issue. Well I thought since I'm doing the intake might as well do a pi intake and cam swap. Hope its worth it. Ill post picks as I go.

If you're doing the cam swap you might go the extra mile and do the heads as well. You can pick up a good set of pi heads for around the 250-300 range.

PI heads are way over-rated. P&P the stock heads from a reputable shop (that way you keep stock compression if you want to throw a little boost at it later), slap a nice Stage 1 or Stage 2 cam in (blower cams for when you do boost it), PI intake (make sure you get the one with the aluminum crossover), bigger TB/Plenum or port the stock ones if on a budget, CAI w/bigger MAF and get it professionally tuned. This along with a full free flowing exhaust will make a huge difference, all without the PI heads.

^this, your npi head flow isn't as bad as ppl make it out to be (in fact it out flows the pi head above .4 or so) With a npi head you can have a much more aggressive cam then in a pi head. as you may or may not know the pi head blows for PTV issues but the npi head has .06 or .1 extra clearance... something to think about.
