PI Swap Q's

I kno there is tons of PI Swap topics on here. I just wanted to know if that it would change the sound of my car. And I have a chance to pick up PI Heads and Intake for 170. But I have to get one of the heads fixed on of the spark plugs was blown out and it needs to be re-machined. Should I pick these up. I already have the full head change kit.

Yea why not, get the spark plug repaired correctly and it will be fine. As far as changing the sound of the vehicle ??? ah not really much. maybe a little but it would be more cam related then anything.

the re-threads are supposed to be stronger than stock, or so i was told. i had to get it done on the girls sunfire and its been over a year no problems with it. basically they just tap the sparkplug larger and then drill in a bronze insert iirc.

I remember my tone getting slightly deeper when i did my PI swap. But i am crazy so....

I just don't want to screw up anything on my car b/c well its a great car already. I know enough to do the swap its just I don't want anything to screw up in the process.

a bump in compression and increase in airflow, it makes sence. just like when u put a cai on the car it sounds a bit different.

my car definitly changed tone and got a decent amount louder.... but i did get shortys and an off road-x at the same time

Well I have an o/r xpipe and 40 series flows they are dumps. I was wondering how come the 99-04 GT's sound diff bc I've noticed it's quite deeper IMO

My tone got louder cause when I did my head swap I also got rid of my 6 catse for a long tube o/r x-pipe setup. A lot louder.
